To mark the 30th anniversary year of IWFCI Global, the IWFCI India National Chapter announced the ‘Women Entrepreneur Awards 2022’. Women entrepreneurs who are 25 years of age and above, have a successful business running for at least the last 3 years and fulfill the conditions and criteria for the same qualified to apply for the Women Entrepreneur Awards 2022. The response received for the same was excellent and it was very difficult to choose the winners. The Jury comprising the Board of Directors of IWFCI-India National Chapter evaluated all the applications received. After vetting through the same the probable awardees were called for a virtual interview where they had to present a short video on their business, its vision and goals. The two applicants who fulfilled the stringent criteria and successfully got through the interview process were Ms. Vandana Suri for her business TAXSHE, an innovative business brand model for mobility solutions in the category of ‘Education and Skill Development’ and Ms. Naina Baindur for her innovative business brand ‘The Green Stories’ to help entrepreneurship among small farmers in the category of “Health and Wellness”. The award included a citation and a cash reward of ₹ 50,000. The awards were presented to the winners in a glittering virtual ceremony on 30th March, 2022.
