The International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry (IWFCI) India National Chapter organised a ‘Meet and Greet’ for women entrepreneurs on Sunday, 9th December, 2018 at the Taj Lands’ End, Bandra Bandstand.

The Chief Guest for the event was Ms. Vinita Bimbhet, India Chair, India ASEAN Women’s Business Forum and Ex-National President of FICCI-FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The Guest of Honour for the event was Mr. Arvind Pradhan, Former Director General, IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Dr. Daphne Pillai, educationist and social entrepreneur, was ceremoniously pinned the President’s Badge by the Chief Guest.

The newly constituted Board of Directors, leaders in their respective domains and with diverse skill sets, were then introduced by pinning IWFCI badges on each one of them by Dr. Daphne Pillai.

Dr. Pillai was appointed President of the IWFCI India National Chapter in a glitzy event at the Global Women’s Trade Summit in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on 6th September, 2018 with the formal signing of the Agreement Protocol with the International Chair, Ms. Diana Abruzzi.

The event provided a platform for various women entrepreneurs from all over India to connect and network with each other and build strategic partnerships.
