In keeping with the objectives of IWFCI India National Chapter, two small scale entrepreneurs, Ms. Kisanavati Fulchand Baniya and Ms. Ashwini Gulnab Dhotre, residing in Mankhurd and Panvel respectively and belonging to a poor family was given financial assistance of ₹ 5,000/- (Rs. Five Thousand) each towards setting up a snacks and fruit business in their locality. This financial aid will help them to set up the stall with materials, fuel, packing containers etc. This initiative will help both the sammm scale business women to grow her business, eventually aiding them in the journey to financial independence. IWFCI India National Chapter will continue to support and mentor them through this process.
