IWFCI India was pleased to be part of Gateway to Global Trade 2026, an engaging interaction with 200+ budding entrepreneurs – connecting young talent with leaders from international business, trade, education and entrepreneurship.

The programme was led by Dr. Daphne Pillai, President, IWFCI India National Chapter & Executive President, Pillai University, with distinguished guests Dr. Vijay Kalantri, Chairperson, World Trade Centre, Mumbai; Ms. Priya Pansare, Senior Director, World Trade Centre Mumbai; and Mr. Amit Sharma, Additional Director of Foreign Trade. Representing IWFCI India Chapter were Prof. Deepika Sharma and Dr. Kavita Kathare.

Dr. Daphne Pillai announced IWFCI’s association with the BBA International Business programme at Pillai University, opening opportunities for students to connect with women entrepreneurs, business leaders and international trade professionals through internships, mentorship, industry interactions and global business exposure.
