In keeping with the objectives of IWFCI India National Chapter, a small scale entrepreneur, Ms. Vahidabi Tayyab Sheikh, residing in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai and belonging to a poor family was given financial assistance of ₹ 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) towards setting up a vegetable stall in her locality. This financial aid will help her to set up the stall with vegetable purchases, weighing scales, plastic baskets etc. This initiative will help Ms. Sheikh to start and grow her business, eventually aiding her in the journey to financial independence. IWFCI India National Chapter will continue to support and mentor her through this process.
