IWFCI India National Chapter collaborated with Pillai University and Society of Women Engineers (SWE) to organise a six-day intensive hands-on training programme designed exclusively for girls from 6th to 10th standard scheduled from 25th to 30th May, 2026. The programme which is open to all schools in Mumbai focuses on introducing young minds to robotics, automation, and AI-integrated systems, enabling them to build and program their own robotic solutions through experiential learning. Around 100 enthusiastic girls joined this workshop today which not only introduces technical concepts but also emphasizes creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, helping participants grow beyond academics. Over six days, students engage in the sessions, showcasing their own projects, culminating in a final challenge and presentation. The workshop was inaugurated by Ms. Srabasti, the first lady Lieutenant of Southern Command Army who has contributed immensely to promoting girls in STEM and Women in Tech. The Valedictory Function will be held on 30th May, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pillai University and will be chaired by IWFCI INDIA President, Dr Daphne Pillai.
