One of the goals of IWFCI India National Chapter has been to provide support to small and micro businesses. During 2020-21, a micro scale entrepreneur Jiya Shahi who runs a small tailoring business in Karave Gaon, Seawoods (West) wanted a designer sewing machine to help her scale up her small business and create new customers. IWFCI supported her in this endeavour. This support has gone a long way to increase her business revenue and give it stability. Today her business is thriving and she is able to become self-sufficient and independent which is a fulfillment of the goals of IWFCI.
