The Global Women’s Trade Summit (GWTS) 2024 was held at Johannesburg, South Africa on 28th & 29th August. It was an enriching 2 days of plenary sessions and panel discussions on the theme ‘Women Accelerating the Economic Empowerment of Nations’. Diana Abruzzi, Founder of IWFCI Global inaugurated the conference with her mesmerising talk. Delegates from India included Dr. Daphne Pillai, Dr. Rema Ramchandran, Ms. Yvette Lee and Dr. Reni Francis.

Dr. Rema Ramchandran was the moderator for the session on ‘Women Driving Trade’ and Dr. Daphne Pillai shared her views as a panelist in this session. Dr. Ramchandran also received a citation for her outstanding contribution to promote global trade.

President Daphne Pillai was handed the baton to host GWTS 2025 in India.
