IWFCI India National Chapter collaborated with Pillai Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship conducted the finals of the Business Plan Competition 2023 on 18th January, 2024 in an exhibition format. The winner for the IWFCI India Award, given to a promising female entrepreneur, was bagged by Mansi Pol, Founder of S Napkin Bouquet, a company that designs cotton napkin bouquets in creative arrangements. The product is reusable and environment friendly and promotes sustainability in addition to providing employment to homemakers. A cash prize and certificate was given to the winner.

The jury members for the competition were Mr. Aditya Mhatre, Founder of Synergy Consultants, Sareyna Khan, Founder of Ikshana, India’s first interchangeable eyewear accessory brand and Mr. Shivsharan – Deputy Manager – Marketing and Finance at his family business Vishva Protech Pvt Ltd. The event was hosted by IWFCI Director, Dr. Celina Joy and attended by Dr. Daphne Pillai, Founder President – IWFCI and Director Yvette Lee. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Daphne Pillai said that it was heartening to see the efforts of young students to bring to life their busienss ideas.
